Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 May 2026
Spectrum Nova Drift Flux is committed to handling your personal data with care and transparency. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. We operate under Japanese privacy law and observe applicable international data protection standards.
What Data We Collect
- Contact form submissions — when you send a message, we receive your name, email address, optional subject line, and message content.
- Usage data via analytics — if analytics cookies are accepted, we receive anonymized information about pages visited, session duration, and navigation paths.
- Cookie preferences — stored locally in your browser to remember your consent choices.
- Technical data — your browser type, device category, and approximate geographic region may be logged for security and performance purposes.
How We Use Your Data
- Responding to enquiries — contact form submissions are used solely to reply to your message and, where relevant, to schedule or conduct an advisory session.
- Site improvement — anonymized analytics data helps us understand which content is useful and where the experience can be refined.
- Security — technical data is used to detect unusual activity and protect the site.
- No data selling — we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- Third-party processors — we may use analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google) if you have consented. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
Legal Basis for Processing
- Consent — analytics, advertising, and personalization cookies are only activated with your explicit consent.
- Legitimate interests — basic site security and the ability to respond to your enquiries fall under our legitimate business interests.
- Legal obligation — we may retain records to comply with Japanese business regulations and applicable law.
How Long We Retain Data
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to complete the advisory relationship — typically up to 24 months, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Analytics data retained by third-party platforms follows their own retention schedules. Cookie preference records in your browser persist until you clear them or change your settings.
How We Protect Your Data
- All data transmitted via the contact form is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Access to stored contact data is limited to team members with a direct need to respond.
- We don't store payment information — our services are invoiced separately through secure channels.
- In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals promptly and in accordance with applicable regulations.
Your Rights
- Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — if any information we hold is inaccurate, you may ask us to correct it.
- Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Right to data portability — in applicable cases, you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — you may change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time via the Cookie Policy page.
Your Rights and Opt-Out Instructions
You are not required to provide any personal information when using this website. If you prefer not to share your data, you may: Avoid filling out contact forms, account registrations, or any data-submitting features. Third Parties & Policy Changes
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. This privacy policy does not cover those sites — we encourage you to read their policies independently. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Retention and storage of personal information
Spectrum Nova Drift Flux retains personal information only for the period required to fulfil the original purpose for which it was collected, or as required by Japanese law (Act on the Protection of Personal Information, APPI Article 19). For most contact-form submissions and consultation records, our retention period is up to 36 months from your last interaction; transactional records (e.g., invoices, refunds) are retained for the seven-year period mandated by Japanese tax law. After the retention period elapses, data is securely deleted or anonymised in line with our internal records-management policy. You may request earlier deletion at any time using the contact details below — we will action verified requests within 30 calendar days unless legally required to retain the information.
International transfers and cross-border safeguards
While Spectrum Nova Drift Flux operates from Japan and stores most data on infrastructure located within the Japanese jurisdiction, certain processors used for hosting, email delivery and aggregated analytics may be located in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside Japan, transfers are made under safeguards required by APPI Article 28 — namely (i) the destination jurisdiction recognises an equivalent personal-information-protection framework, or (ii) the processor is contractually bound to standards substantially equivalent to APPI, or (iii) you have provided explicit informed consent at the point of collection. A list of sub-processors currently engaged is available on request.
Children's privacy and accessibility
Our services are not directed to children under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors and we apply additional verification when an account or enquiry appears to originate from a person below the age of consent. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the channels below and we will delete the records promptly. We design our forms and consent flows to meet Japanese web-accessibility expectations (JIS X 8341-3) wherever practical; if you encounter an accessibility barrier preventing you from exercising your rights, please tell us and we will provide an alternative channel.
