A gift that says
you thought about
the person.

A consultation that gathers context — the recipient, the occasion, any preferences — and returns a small range of considered options with presentation notes included.

What This Delivers

Options that fit the person — not just the category.

Most gift guides suggest broadly. This consultation works from the specific: who the recipient is, what the occasion calls for, and what would actually land well rather than simply look considered from the outside.

You receive a small range of options across categories such as small accessories, desk pieces, and thoughtful tech items — each with a note on why it suits the context. Presentation ideas and a short card draft are included if you'd like them.

Options built around the recipient

We gather context about the person first — their interests, the occasion, any known preferences or things to avoid — before suggesting anything.

Presentation notes included

Wrapping ideas, presentation approaches, and small details that make a considered gift feel complete when it arrives.

A card draft if you'd like one

A short, personally-worded card draft that reflects the occasion and your relationship — something to send as-is or adapt to your own voice.

The Situation

Finding the right gift
takes more thought than time usually allows.

Occasion 01

A colleague's milestone

Work relationships carry their own register. Too personal feels odd; too generic feels like an afterthought. Finding something that reads as considered without overstepping is genuinely difficult.

Occasion 02

A longtime friend

You know them well, which makes it harder — not easier. Whatever you choose carries the weight of familiarity, and a gift that doesn't fit the moment stands out.

Occasion 03

A quieter gesture

Not every gift marks a formal occasion. Sometimes it's simply a way of saying something — appreciation, gratitude, or acknowledgment — and finding the right vehicle for that is its own challenge.

This consultation is suited to anyone who wants to give a gift that genuinely fits — and would find value in having a considered, outside perspective to help get there.

The Approach

We work from context, not categories.

Before suggesting anything, we gather the context that makes a gift land well: who the recipient is, what the occasion calls for, what you already know about their habits and interests, and anything to avoid — allergy, preference, or simply something they already have.

The consultation itself runs around 30 to 40 minutes. It's conversational, not a form to fill out. The questions are practical and aimed at giving us enough to work with — not an interrogation about someone's personality.

After the consultation, we prepare a short document with a small range of options across relevant categories, presentation notes for each, and a card draft if you'd like one. The document is yours to use however it helps.

What we gather before suggesting

  • The recipient — their relationship to you, general interests, daily routines

  • The occasion — formal or informal, the tone it calls for

  • Known preferences or restrictions — things to steer toward or away from

  • Budget range and how you'd like it to read — practical, decorative, sentimental

  • Whether presentation notes and a card draft would be useful

  • Any previous gifts that went well — or didn't

Working Together

What the consultation produces.

A range of gift options

A small selection across relevant categories — small accessories, desk pieces, considered tech items — each matched to the context you've shared. Options are shown at different price points within your range.

Presentation notes per option

For each suggestion, we include a short note on how it might be wrapped or presented — the details that make a considered gift feel complete when it arrives, not just thoughtful in concept.

A card draft, if requested

A short, personally-worded draft that reflects the occasion and your relationship with the recipient. Something to send as-is or use as a starting point in your own voice.

Our Approach

What makes the options useful rather than generic.

Context before category

We don't start from a list of popular items. We start from what you've told us about the recipient, and find what fits from there.

Range without overwhelm

The document offers a small, considered range — not an exhaustive list. Enough to choose from, not so many that the decision feels harder than it did before.

Presentation as part of the gift

How a gift arrives matters. The notes on presentation are practical and specific — not vague suggestions to add a ribbon.

6 yr

Advisory experience

Figures reflect work carried out between May 2019 and May 2026. Gift consultations form a meaningful part of the sessions tracked across that period.

Our Commitment

The document should feel useful — not just thorough.

If you receive the consultation document and the options don't reflect the context you discussed, write to us. We'll revisit and adjust at no additional charge. Our aim is for the suggestions to be genuinely usable — something you'd actually consider, not a list that could have been assembled for anyone.

Revisions on request

If the options don't fit the context shared in the session, we'll adjust them.

No obligation to act

The fee covers the consultation and document. What you do with it is entirely up to you.

One follow-up included

After you've reviewed the document, one follow-up question by email is included at no additional charge.

Getting Started

A short message is enough to begin.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for before writing. Mention the occasion and who it's for — we'll handle the rest from there.

01

Write to us

Use the contact form on the homepage. Tell us the occasion and a little about the recipient. A few lines is enough to get started.

02

The consultation

We'll confirm a time for a 30–40 minute conversation. The questions are practical and straightforward — about the person and the occasion, nothing more complicated.

03

Your document arrives

Within two working days, you receive the gift options, presentation notes, and card draft by email. From there, it's yours to use as you see fit.
